Kingsbridge Scholars was founded in 2024 by Dr. Amy Arthur, a certified teacher with more than 20 years of experience in education and instructional systems design. After beginning the homeschool journey with her own children during the COVID-19 pandemic, Dr. Arthur decided to bring her wealth of education and instructional technology experience to the larger homeschool community and offer secular, academic, instructionally-sound online courses for other families to assist their children’s educational journey. Dr. Arthur is a Florida certified teacher and she was also a National Board Certified Teacher in Adolescence and Young Adulthood English Language Arts from 2008-2018. Dr. Arthur holds a masters degree in Instructional Systems Design from the University of Central Florida and a Doctor of Education degree in Instructional Systems & Learning Technologies from Florida State University.
