KBS Umbrella School Annual Attendance Verification

Florida's Compulsory School Attendance Law:

Florida Law (Section 1003.21, Florida Statutes) states that all children who are either six years of age, who will be six years old by February 1 of any school year, or who are older than six years of age but who have not attained the age of 16 years, must attend school regularly during the entire school term.

All Kingsbridge Scholars Umbrella School students must have an annual attendance verification form submitted by their parent, who is their primary teacher, to certify attendance and comply with Florida's compulsory school attendance law.

This attendance verification form is due by June 15 of every year the student is enrolled. Students are deemed in attendance for the required 180 days upon receipt of this attendance verification form, which will be saved and reported annually to the state as required by all Florida private schools.
