Description
6th Grade Language Arts 1 is a two-semester course that helps build essential skills in communication, reading comprehension, and critical thinking. Each unit focuses on a set of skills or a broad topic, with three engaging lessons and one assessment lesson to review and reinforce what’s been learned. Students will explore how nonfiction and literature share ideas, learn to write clearly and confidently in narrative, argumentative, and informational styles, and strengthen grammar and vocabulary skills to express themselves effectively.
