M/J Civics & Economics is a comprehensive course designed to help middle school students build their understanding of the political and governmental systems of the United States and the role of citizens in civic life. Students will develop critical thinking and analytical skills as they explore civic life, political practices, and governmental and economic structures. The course is organized into themed units with three to five engaging lessons that include direct instruction, guided analysis, multi-modal activities, and personalized feedback. Students participate in activities and assessments in an interactive, feedback-rich environment that supports their understanding and application of important civics concepts.
