Description
M/J Earth/Space Science is a comprehensive middle school course that builds students’ scientific literacy, deepens their conceptual understanding, and guides them in applying scientific practices. Throughout the course, students explore topics like Earth’s systems, engineering design, the nature of the universe, and how humans interact with the environment. The course is divided into themed units, each featuring two to three engaging lessons filled with direct instruction, interactive mini-investigations, multi-modal activities, and personalized feedback. Students work through a range of performance tasks and assessments to solidify their understanding, all within a dynamic, feedback-rich environment that supports their learning journey.
