Description
M/J Life Science is a comprehensive middle school course that helps students build scientific literacy, deepen their understanding of key life science concepts, and apply scientific practices. Students explore topics such as the relationship between structure and function, the flow of energy and matter through living systems, heredity, and the diversity of life. The course is structured into themed units, each containing two to three engaging lessons filled with direct instruction, interactive mini-investigations, multi-modal activities, and personalized feedback. Students apply their skills through performance tasks and a variety of assessments in an interactive, feedback-rich environment that supports their learning journey.
