Description
AP® Psychology is a college-level course that introduces students to the scientific study of human behavior and mental processes. Students explore major topics like biological bases of behavior, cognition, development, personality, psychological disorders, and social psychology, while also learning about research methods and ethics. Through engaging lessons, case studies, and data analysis, students build critical thinking and inquiry skills to apply psychological concepts to real-world scenarios. The course includes performance tasks and assessments within a feedback-rich environment that supports students’ growth as thoughtful, analytical learners of human behavior and the mind.
Please note: This course has been authorized by College Board for the AP® course designation on high school transcripts. Students will receive a course authorization letter along with their final course grade. Students will need to register separately with a local school that administers AP® exams for potential future college credit.
