Engaging lessons include direct instruction, close reading, writing activities, and interactive discussions that help students identify literary techniques, analyze themes, and evaluate form and style in various genres. The course is organized into themed units with multiple lessons, and students complete performance tasks and a variety of assessments, all within a feedback-rich environment that supports their growth as confident, capable readers and writers.
