M/J Physical Science

M/J Physical Science is a comprehensive middle school course that helps students develop scientific literacy, deepen their understanding of important physical science concepts, and apply scientific practices. Students will explore topics such as the interactions of matter, motion and stability, waves and their technological applications, and energy. The course is organized into themed units, each with two to three engaging lessons that include direct instruction, interactive mini-investigations, multi-modal activities, and personalized feedback. Throughout the course, students will apply their skills through performance tasks and various assessments in an interactive, feedback-rich environment that supports their learning journey.
